Halls for Hire

Community Centre

www.MarshfieldCommunityCentre.co.uk

Purposefully built to become a ‘hub’ of local activity, and partially enabled by fundraising and donations, Marshfield Community Centre has been bringing people together to make the most out of village life since 1991. At the heart of its remit is an ongoing commitment to make this wonderful venue an attractive, flexible and highly affordable venue for groups, friends and families alike to meet for every kind of occasion.

Today, it is the home of Marshfield Community Library (run by volunteers) and Marshfield Movies (our very own surround sound/big screen cinema, again run by volunteers), as well as Marshfield Pre-School with its own bespoke space with adjacent sensory garden. Thanks to its flexible layout, the Centre runs a busy timetable of weekly activities and events, including dancing, yoga, circuit training, fitness classes and short mat bowls - plus two Toddlers sessions - as well as playing host to Marshfield Players productions and Marshfield WI.

All of the facilities are available for hire for regular activities and one-off special occasions - including weddings - with the benefit of a private car park and beautifully maintained lawn to the front of the building which is great for photos! The Large Hall with its high, vaulted ceiling is a real ‘blank canvas’ for any big event, while the Small Hall is ideal for more informal meetings and groups with a hatch connecting it to the Kitchen.

You can find further details of the hall sizes and amenities on our website.
